How to make transmission start in 1st gear??
I have a '92 300CE.
Does anyone know how to modify the transmission to make it start out in 1st gear?? (It normally starts out in 2nd unless you floor it)
Is the 2nd gear start prompted by something electical, or mechanical? In other words, will I have to modify the transmission valve body, or can I just unplug a wire somewhere?

Carl @ bergwerks.com has both the tranny module and valve body, depending on what engine, when you specify, he will tell you which one you need. I am ordering one soon, and have heard nothing but great things about it.
