They were being sold by the UK dealer that originally commissioned the kits.."Hughes of Beaconsfield"..
I wasn't aware of any kits in their inventory after 2007..
The remaining bits and pieces were bought by a UK Merc enthusiast who prefers not to be named...

The way i see it i have 3 options:
1) Buy a c230K for £800ish and use everything off that, then upgrade the supercharger and ecu. result: approx. 240bhp
2) Buy a e320 coupe for £1200ish and use everything off that.
result: approx 220bhp, With the prospect of a twin turbo conversion taking it to 320bhp.
3) buy a c36 amg for around £2500ish and use everything off that. result: approx 280hp
i would prefer the 3rd option to be honest as i think it will be the most reliable.
Although i have done a few engine swaps, i have not done a conversion. This is where i would need help. I dont mind spending the tine doing the conversion e.g. months as i will dont drive the car when its not sunny in the uk. (and thats about 10days a year in the UK).
i have read many different threads on conversions but none have started with a m111 to a m104. if i do get a c36 amg car would i need any additional parts to make it work? As you have stated i will have to change the rad, wiring, ecu,
i need to change the brakes regardless. and was planning on a larger intercooler as well.
worst case scenario i will just get the 230k and put that in. Apart from smaller pulleys and a uprated ecu and intercooler what else can be done to this engine? i have searched but not much has come up.

You haven't indicated your location, but quoting cost in Sterling would make me assume that you are in the UK.
If you are in the UK another consideration would be an E36.
Suggest you join and monitor the threads on www.mbclub.co.uk
There is a recent thread that I posted on that had a link to a TurboTechnics kit that recently sold on EBAY UK for about 600 sterling !!!

ps. the e36 costs too much. so is not a viable option.

300TE s124 E320 w124 project
Leave the car as it is mate as turning that to a 320 will cost you a fair bit, unless you`re doing the job yourself

Had i not just spent £5k on the wald kit, full respray, jenherts and suspension, i would have taken it.
but i have to be realistic on how much more i can spend this year. I was hoping to get the TT kit for around the £1000 mark.
Is there any chance the seller would consider this? To aid this offer, I am a jenhert reseller, so i could work out cost price for them or any other jenhert system (if they are interested).
