Check out the "E32 kompressor" with "Brembo brakes" on eBay

This car was featured a few years ago on the poser thread. Now it's for sale:

This car sounds like a good deal.
He's not advertising or selling it as an "E32" and seems to be very straight-forward about it's features and condition.
One would have to see how it runs etc. A PPI would be necessary as there may be the typical problems with an old W124 - head gasket leak, worn suspension rubber, tierods etc.

As to the "poser" brakes: That IS an awesome upgrade and it works very well. I have the same brakes, actually from an SL600, with the 334mm discs.
They are indeed manufactured by Brembo, the calipers being cast iron with aluminium covers.
Mercedes never badged them as "Brembo", however.

The only questionable items on the car are it's lights and I find that minor and totally subjective. I'm sure not everyone would like the LED's but that's easily and inexpensively changed.
The headlights look stock so the may be HID, but not projectors.

This guy has obviously spent a good deal of money and time on his car. The body kit ( if a quality product ) and the wheels are nice upgrades, and the facelift is a plus as well.

As with any car purchase, one needs to focus on condition.

I would hardly say that he has misrepresented the car.

You, on the other hand seem to have gone to a lot of trouble to "expose" him.
Do you have history together ?

I didn't go to any trouble to "expose" the seller, it took maybe 45 seconds to post his eBay listing. How much trouble did you go to when you replied to my post? I posted the listing because I thought the W124 forum would find it interesting. I also never called him a poser. I said that his car appeared in the poser thread. I am also aware that the seller is not trying to mis-represent the car. He does make it very clear that the car is incorrectly badged. I agree that this is a solid E300; the monoblocks, color, stance, and front spoiler make it stand out in a good way. The new buyer could remove the LEDs and badge the decklid correctly and have a nice daily driver. The W124s are great; I've owned and enjoyed a 300TE 4-Matic and an 89 300CE. Still looking for a pristine 1995 E320 Coupe with the Sportline pack.

Not fond of the strip of LEDs or the badging, but otherwise looks ok. Pretty cool that it already is piped with an IC

Is it only co-incidental thatyou've never (or only rarely) appeared on the W124 forum?
Remarkable that you and the seller are both from Georgia, too.

Do you know the Seller?

It may only have taken you "45 seconds" to paste the eBay link, but your brief Subject Line needlessly prejudices the listing, " E32 Kompressor" and "Brembo brakes".
Just to make sure, you specifically editorialise that it was from "the POSER thread".

If that's not negative commentary, I don't know what is.

As to my summation of the car: you invited us to look at it because you thought we would be "interested".
After reading the actual ad, one has to question what your motive was for presenting it the way you did.
