Fans will not turn on
I have a 1993 400e. A recent purchase. My mechanic is currently looking at this problem. Is it normal to have to replace the fans. My mechanic has checked the fuse, engine harness is new. He's still looking. I would appreciate any suggestions.

Audi 80 Quattro (with a couple of modifications)
Has he tried to hot wire the fan directly to the battery to see if it's just the fan that's no good?

Found problem
The relay was bad. Looks like a little black box. Problem fixed.
