Chipping 300E-24
Im thinking of buying a 300E-24 '92 Model, and was looking at getting a chip for it as well. I am looking at Powerchip (www.powerchipgroup.com). The chip is said to be plug in, and offers Max Kw 183 and Max Nm as 300 over the standard 167kw and 273 Nm, has anyone ever tried these chips or similar?? Anyone know how to install them as well??

From what I've read and heard, powerchips do absolutely NOTHING to our cars since they are mechanical fuel injection and do not have an ECU that can be changed by chipping. Anyone else care to add their thoughts?

There is nothing to ''chip', on these cars.
Unless you are ready to spend a few thousand $$ on the car, forget about adding anything that would increase HP.
Chip,, K&N, air intake, and all other gizmos or miracle product are a total waste of $$

You could try NOS. I seems to wake up the 6 cylinder and a 75 hp shot would not damage the mechanicals. Alot of those systems running around South Florida. Doesn't affect daily driving but when you need a boost.....

I'm not sure NOS does nothing bad to the mechanic... I heard so much stories about that **** !
Lots of people have mechanical problems after NOS installation. That's not a solution to increase horsepower !
