86 300e w124 3.0 dies when cornering with low fuel. When I fill the tank the problem goes away. I've cleaned fuel tank strainer, replaced fuel filter, and the car idles and accelerates excellent. any suggestions, thanks.

 

Same exact issue here. No idea wtf causes it. However, there is a new part number in the EPC for the gastank, and it is marked as recommended for replacement.

My dad thinks the new part number has a different baffle design that prevents gas from flowing away from the outtake area during cornering.

 

I might be close to fixing the problem. keep checking back.
