Engine offset?

Hi, I'm in the progress of swapping a 302 HO Ford engine into my 1989 260e, and in the process of making my motor mounts, I realized that the factory mount locations are shifted closer to the passenger side. Also, the transmission tunnel appears to be closer to the passenger side as well. Just wondering if anyone has any info about the engine placement and if it need to be offset in the engine bay. Any information is very much appreciated. Ill post pics in a couple pics in just a little bit. Thanks Justin

I'm not sure if this is the answer to your question but Mercedes angled their engines 15% to the right in the W124.
