My 95 Mercedes E320 just hit 65k miles, so i figure its due for trans filter and fluid change. The filter i will get from mb dealer, but what do you recommend for trans fluid, can i use a synthetic trans fluid or am i better off with the regular stuff ect. Thanks guys, your input is greatly appreciated.

Just use regular trans fluid. If you want to use synthetic just buy the valvoline maxlife synthetic. It is pretty cheap and works well.

So putting synthetic fluid in the trans shouldn't be an issue then correct
