Is it true for 300E
I read a guy's paper , he describe 300E as top of W124.
Is it true ? Do you agree ?

I guess this may have been written by a guy who was fallen in love with that car that time and still owns it and may not have had a chance to check out later models. It's probably like a marrige where a couple is for the alegiant for the rest of their lives and dont know better.
It is a great car, and by the same token the design is from the year 1985! and technology advances, that's a fact!

I have never driven the 87 300E's. However, acceleration wise, they are faster than the other 12V 300E's. That's probably due to their lighter weight.
Other than that I think the V-8 powered 124's (I'm very biased) are great fun to drive! The engine also sounds marvelous.

It sounds like he is saying its the best. But i dontt hink that was his intention. He is just describing how good the car is. He even says there are faster cars but nothing as fun as his 300E.
