Need to replace head gaket in 1995 E300D. Advice?

Need to replace headgasket in 1995 E300D but need advice on tools needed
Howdy,
(Good grief--I had to fix many spellling errors in this post--very sorry)
I am a good German auto tech; Master Audi and ASE for 10 years, close in VW, plus many years of experience with BMW and Mercedes. Currently repair everything to pay the rent and have a decent, well-stocked shop.
I have a neighbor who needs a headgasket replaced (plus whatever else we find on the way) in his 1995 E300D. Confirmation was easy; coolant is coming out of the right rear corner between the head and block.
I know I can do it, but I don't have a good grasp of how many other tools I need, so I'm looking for something like a list of the special tools required for this job and some general tips.
I can return the favor with anything under the Audi or VW banners.
I do have access to the MBenz factory repair information.
