off topic- ford oem clear explorer side markers
hi
i needed a place to post this pic.
the clear 'european spec' side markers doesn't end with mercedes. and just because you have them it sure as hell doen't make you a ricer.
i have a '02.5 ford explorer 4 door, i was kicking around this idea for quite awhile.
after a lot of research i found a ford dealer in melbourne austrailia who would sell me OEM clear corners. i got busy and never ordered them.
a couple of months later on a explorer forum someone was asking about them, i told them my idea. well this guy has a friend in oz and he got a pair and then put together a group buy.
i jumped on board.
voila, clear oem side indicators from down under. they are sweet.

that's pretty good!!
i guess i've made MY point re: bosch.
good damnit!
i've beat that pretty hard, haven't i?
actually these are made by visteon [housing] and pmma [lens].
they are identical except no amber reflector inside.
the current generation explorer's headlights are as good as my mercedes euros, they just can't be adjusted while driving.

i [really] do have a great sense of humor.
i do firmly believe oem quality, fit, finish, longevity it IS hard to beat.
the red x is all factory. even tow hooks and skid plates.
YES, it does go off-road [adult off-roading that is]
i am using a 9005 [high beam bulb] instead of the bast*rd ford 9145 bulb in the fogs.
there is a shield around the sides of the foglight bulb, other than that it does resemble the high beam reflector.
this site has really picked up, don't you think?

btw-this isn't MY truck
