Question Looking for 3rd brake lamp...

Hello everybody,
I'm Ste and i own a 1989 300E manual which is upgraded with 1993+ bodyparts. I'm looking for the OEM 3rd brake lamp ( in interior ) and the antenna in the back left of the car ( usually comes as standard with the american model ). Is it a manual or a motorized antenna ? Could anyone help me with the information?
Thanks a lot
Ste

Hallo Apa kabar? 300E-nya keren banget

I really like those Brabus wheels! If I could find those I'd mount them on my 420 right away!

What size are they? 18"? 18x8? are they also available in 17x7.5?
Where did you get them from? I see them all the time in Jakarta. Maybe I'll get a set when I go home...

Anyway,

try www.performanceproducts.com for the antenna:

I have the catalog. You can request for one too.
it says.. antenna complete to '90 part# 82-387A
'91 82-387B
'92-93 82-387G
'94-95 82-387H

I don't know why they are different. However the 1994/1995 antenna is $220!! The other ones are around $150 +/- $30

You also need the inner and outer grommet (82-393 and 82-392)

if you are ordering use the part numbers I posted! but check the description :p

I don't know how the antennas are different. But im sure Indonesians are creative enough to figure something out

BTW, the antennas are automatic. I believe the early 124's antennas' height could be controlled by a dash switch. The newer ones just go all the way up.

I suggest buying one of those low profile antennas that you mount just above the rear windshield. Unless you really like the OEM one American style hehe..
please don't get the American style headlights though!!! Those DOT headlights (pre-94) are TERRIBLE + they're ugly.

They also have an interior wood kit.. get the catalog. They have many more things on the catalog!

Good luck!

Wink

Thanks for the compliments Yes, they are Brabus Monoblock III 17' x 8' with Dunlop SP8000 235/45's and i think you can find them quite easily in Indonesia, although some says that they're quite rare. I use eibach springs to lower the ride height and it does very well in comfortable way.
Terima kasih banyak for the information about the antenna eventhough the pricetag surprised me maybe i'll think about it first. I already get the ' dummy ' GPS antenna, same model with the one on new Mercs model by the way, and it only cost me about $5
