1990 300E engine / tranny

Just bought this car with 103K on it. Drove it about 300 miles home yesterday It had been sitting for a while and looking for troubleshooting tips on the following:
Engine will idle up to about 1200 - 1500 on its own after the engine is warmed. It will kick down Ok, it coughs a little when I do this. I wonder if this could be vacuum related or maybe an O2 sensor of some kind.

Transmission doesn't drop in to passing gear smoothly under hard acceleration.
It hesitates then revs way up and shift abruptly into next higher gear. The fluid looks OK, red and no burnt smell. Maybe dirty filter restricting flow?
Or possibly adjustment needed?

Also, the oil pressure meter hovers around 1.5 at idle and tops at 2.75 or so at 2500 RPM. It was fluctuating from 1 - 2.5 at idle during our trip home. Oil level is correct, oil is new (golden color). Any easy way to check if it;s the pump or just the sensor?

What other maintenance should be done at this mileage?

I want to buy new headlamp glass lens to replace smoky plastic one. Get them where?

I'm not familiar with this vintage car yet. Suggestions? Other common things to look for?

One more thing.... Where can I get an owners manual for this car please?

Thanks. Mike
