w124 - 200E WHAT HAPPEN WHEN ENGINE IS VERY HOT
Dear all,
I have a garage and W124 - 200E (1992) is my lovely car.
Its very good condition, all functions are working. Engine runs smoothly.
Some days ago, I couldn't start when engine is very hot (cooling teperature 95 C and getting higher when stoping) even accelerating pedal on floor. Engine cranks and quite many time.
I just open one line of gasoline distributor a little, engine start up immediately. Other time when I regulate for richer gasoline, engine start up too. With cool engine, there is not any problem.
Do you have any idea.
For a long time, the Idle Speed Valve does work when Engine is very hot (idle speed is getting higher)
I have changed fuel pump and filter.
