W210 E-class (E200 CDI)
Cool SD Connect/Xentry

Hi.

I've got a -95 W124 and would like to connect my SD Connect4 to it.
Is there someone here (I bet there is! :-P) who knows how to connect the wires from the mux? I've attached a .jpg which shows the color of the banana plugs.
The Black plug is of course ground, which will go in pos 1 on the Data Link
The White plug is marked KL15 which I understand is going to pos 16..?
The red plug is marked 12V B+, don't know where this goes.
The blue plug is marked K-Line/LIN, don't know where this goes.
There is to groups of plugs with two plugs in each. One Green and one yellow. One group is marked CAN HS and one is marked CAN LS. The green plug in each group is marked CAN_L and the yellow is marked CAN_H.

Anyone here knows the procedure on testing? :-)

Regards
Ivan

The cable you want to use is the one with the three male ends---black(ground)--- yellow(to test) and red(power)

However to back up a moment make sure that the green cable is connected between the laptop and the SD connect then connect the cable with the three colored male plugs.

Before you start you have to know what you want to test because you have a diagnostic socket with 8 or 16 female sockets and some are not connected and others are connected(depending upon the VIN)----so my question is what circuit do you want to test????

CONNECT YOUR BLACK, RED, AND WHITE PLUGS AS NORMAL RED TO BATTERY. BLACK TO GROUND OR PIN 1 SHOULD ALSO BE A GROUND AND PIN 16 IS KEY ON POWER FOR THE WHITE WIRE. THE BLUE WIRE IS THE ONE YOU USE TO COMMUNICATE WITH CONTROL UNITS. LEAVE DISCONNECTED UNTIL YOU SELECT VEHICLE AND HHT WINDOW WILL OPEN. THEN WHEN YOU SELECT WHAT CONTROL UNIT YOU WANT IT WILL TELL YOU WHICH PIN TO CONNECT THE BLUE CABLE TO FOR COMMUNICATION. THE OTHER 2 SETS OF GREEN AND YELLOW ARE NOT USED AT ALL FOR THIS.
