I drowned my M119 engine looking for the source of a small oil leak.(a bit of reading would have told me the valve cover gaskets were the likely source of the leak . . . ) After replacing the Upper Wire Harness, Plugs and Wires, Cap(s) and Rotor(s), Throttle body . . . I have attempted to correctly install the spark plug wires with no good result. I was able to drive the car after I installed the Wire Harness, but it had no power. I was told by the repair shop that replaced all the parts (except the wire harness) that the plug wires that were installed were not the correct ones and could I bring the car for the correct wires to be installed. I was so excited to find the wire harness and install it myself that I did not re-install the plug wires one by one. I have looked and looked to no avail to find a plug wire diagram. I have the wires installed per the distributor cap (R4 L3) to no result. I am bonded to my 400E as a result of this.

What plug wires did you use? Aftermarket?

20/20 hindsight now but the OE spark wire 'kit' is all apart, where you pull off one wire off the car; 'make' it to the same length, then install before starting the next wire.
