1995 E320 wiring
1995 E320 wiring
I had the dreaded wiring harness go bad on me.
I have it replaced, but the engine still stalls after coldstart within a minute or so.
I expect that the ECU might be failing or has failed due to wiring shorts.
Now: Can it be repaired?
I do have an ECU for a '93 2.8l eng from the junkyard. Could I run this one in my 3.2?
Might not be perfect but could I even try?
I think I have to rewire the trottle body actuator yet.
I hope someone can answer me soon. Thanks.

You build a little LED tool.
Simple, cheap device.

Make the tool and I will run you thru the process.

The built-in LED/SW will only address Emmisions fault codes stored in the N/59 DM.
[CE lamp activation module]
You want to get to the actual Engine Management/ HFM/SFI and EA/CC control modules.
That takes the tool and a different pin to activate the retrieve flash code format.
Here are those codes
