Hi All!!! I would like to introduce myself and get some advice while I am at it! =)

Im JC, live down in SanDiego and have some wrecking yards in SoCal (just in case ya'll need something )

Anyways I acquired a 89 300ce, 100% clean body with the m103 but the engine & tranny are no good.
And also got a 91 sl300 hit from the rear w/ m104 24v w/103k

I like the CE, so my question is can I do a swap? if so what do I need to swap
(I didn't find a write up on this)
So a direct link to one would be great cuz Im ready to do this ASAP.

Is the 91 SL an early 24V with CIS-E or a later with HFM?

Take all of the engine electronics and the wiring harness from the donor car.

If it's a later engine check the harness condition to see if it is the type that degrades due to the insulation that Merc used to "save the world"

Im fairly new to the MBZ world so bare with Me please. Im not sure how to tell between CIS-E or HFM. The manufacture date is 11/90.

From the pic it's an early high RPM M104-24V with CIS-E injection.
Same as what you have on the M103.

Should be a fairly easy mechanical swap but still use the electronics and harness from the donor car.
