Step 1 Clean vacuum fitting on intake manifold that feeds adla valve. Clean the line as well.
Step 2 Check the rubber hose for cracks or breaks on the turbocharger that connects to the turbocharger wastegate.

This has happened to my engine. I do step one and it usually stays away for a year. Step 2 happened to my fathers' car. We replaced the rubber hose and back came the boost.

Every 75,000 miles we remove the intake mainfold and the cross over tube and soak those two parts in degreaser for about 30 minutes. Rinse with a pressure washer and reinstall.

I clean the passage leading from the egr valve to the intake fitting and notice this helped smooth the idle.

I replaced all 3 electric/vacuum crossover valves at 160,000 miles. Engine ran smoother and idled smoother and has more throttle response.
