Oil pressue question.

Oil pressue question.
Hello,
My E280 sounds and drives very good.
I get 3bars oil pressure when driving away but yesterday when i stoped by a red light, it fell down to 0.3 bars? Sounds dangerously low!?
I don't know, checked the oil level and its fine. Using castrol magnatec so theer is no rubbish oil either. I can see that if i stay on idle and then puts in revese the oil pressue even falls to 0.
Hmm? Is this something to do with the oil pump?
Going to call merc garage now but anyway if you have seen something similar. Please give me your advice.

The oil pressure does seem like it is getting low, but if it can reach 3 bar or more then you oil pump should be all right. Clearly the pressure is related to the amount of force put on the engine and when the transmission is in different positions it will put either more or less force on the engine, so there might be something with the resistance of the transmission.

The pressure is ok for the forst 30 min driving then when the engine get's really in working temp this things happen.
Oil pressure at standstill with drive in, = very low pressure.
If in neutral its 1 bar. Parking 1.2 bar.
Make emergency oil change today to see if thing change, othervice we take a trip to the doctor next week.
