1992 400E (180K miles)
FS: 92 400E 180K with 20 years of records
I’m selling our 1992 400E with 180,000 miles on it. The car is in Houston, TX
I am the 3rd owner and have had it since 2002. The first owner was a partner in a local MB/Porsche/BMW indi mechanic shop. He sold it to a customer who had it for a couple of years.
The car comes with 20 years of service records.
- All oil changes synthetic
- Upper wire harness replaced in 2009
- Seats & leather and dash are in excellent condition
- Tires are virtually new.
- Comes with the w124 Owners Bible maintenance book
- It idles smoothly and has plenty of power
- Upgraded lights to DEPO units (although the trim piece under the lights is original)
- Almost everything has been replaced in engine bay
- Replaced in the last 2 years:
o Ignition tumbler (the door and ignition keys are different)
o Pads, discs, brake lines & calipers on all four wheels
o AC compressor, dryer, AC belt
o Strut mounts
o Fuel pump
o Wiper assembly
o Driver mirror
o Headliner and armrest
It’s a daily driver with very few issues but they are
- Key scratch down passenger side (see pic)
- Passenger window not working
- Driver seat left side lift motor out but all others working
- Hairline crack in wood between transmission and ashtray
- Scratch on driver door frame and plastic rear bumper
