Exclamation W124 Noise

Hey guys.

Just need some help.

Basically I hear a knocking noise, to me, from the front of my car. Whenever I am in the parking lot and I'm slowly creeping around, I hear a knock noise or whenever I am slowing down to a stop. In both occasions, I am on the brake but enough on the brake that I'm still moving slowly, not fast.

I was thinking either the front pads are knocking back and forth or my lower control arm bushings are gone. I don't hear it when going over a bump, I am leaving out the ARB bushings. I haven't had a good look @ it but I will soon.

Any help?

Struts?
A single thud knock or repetitive knocking?

.
If it's repetitive and sounds friendly, i'd answer it...

Well if I continue to keep my foot on the brake but still slowly moving I can hear it knocking continuously. As soon as I fool brake it goes awake. I also do hear like a shuttering/howling sound too on my Left front

Get the wheel off the ground, grab the tire and check for vertical and horizontal play. You likely have vertical movement, that can be A-arm bushings.

Horizontal play is likely tie-rods.

Check struts for leaks.

Do you get a clunk when going over the curb turning into parking lots.
