The R134 coolant level is approximately 45-50 psi according to one of those off the shelf recharge kits from the parts store. It actually was a little high initially and I bled it down to around 25-30, then charged it back up to the 45-50 range (engine runnning, AC set max). Is this still too much psi?
Symptoms: With the thermostat set to max AC I get plenty of fan or air thru the vents, and yes air is blowing from ALL the dash vents. I don't think the compressor is kicking on/off.
I have read where there is some quick/easy checks to make before going down the dark road of R&R the compressor, like some relay or fuse etc.
Starting with some basics easiest to the compressor, where/what can I check or start at to eliminate the simples?
Also any links to the R&R of the compressor so i can bone up on a DIY should it come down to that?
