Aftermarked CC on w124 e220, wiring
Hi, I’m new to this forum, hope I’m posting at the correct place.
To make a long story short: I’ve got an old, but still very usable Equus 9000B after marked cruise control I want to fit to my 1993 E220 (w124 petrol, manual).
But this kit demands an "old school" coil with separate ground wire (like an after marked tach). But the car is equipped with muliti-coil ignition. I’ve heard it’s possible to use the tacho feed cable instead, but before I start wiring I want to check if anyone has ever ever tried this. And if this could do any damage :-)
The Equus manual (see attachment) is not very optimistic, but maybe …?
regards
