hi all,
i'm curious everyone's opinion on why these cars have not held up better in value vs other collectibles as i'm a fan of these cars and looking to buy one. while i realize that they won't drive as fast as the newer AMGs, they are hand-made classics and now already 20 yrs old. overall, they appear to depreciate much like regular MBs (and even older bmw M-series)...but imho, they should not be.
p.s. i guess w/ over 4,000 units over 3 yrs, perhaps they are still not that rare?

10,374 cars over 5 years worldwide...not exactly low volume production collectables.
The good ones with low miles will always be worth top $$. Seems like 20-25 grand gets you a very nice one with under 80K miles....the trick is to find the low mile one before someone else does; a lot of folks looking to get into the good ones these days.
