Hello everyone

I'm looking for chrome tips for a 1993 400E, good quality. I done endless searches and still unable to find a retailer.

Also, I've noticed if I put my car in reverse, and i'm moving very slowly, my car sometimes will stall. The car starts right back up after going into Park. Any suggestions.


Also, my far left vent control, to open and close the vent is no longer illuminated, all the others are fine. I don't know if there's an extra fuse or light bulb somewhere.

I have been also searching endlessly for chrome tips for my '92 500E. I saw a picture on this forum of someone's w124 with chrome tips, and I remember he/she said it was an arospeed muffler. So far, that is the closest I have found to chrome tips, next to getting an expensive remus sport exhaust.

I installed dual Lorinser tips on my 400E, trimmed the rear bumper a bit and had a shop weld the tips onto the stock exhaust.

I would think that most of the chrome tips are from the ends of after market mufflers. Don't put those slide on ends from the local Pep Boys, they look like sheit.

My car also stalls if I put it in reverse, go fast then slow down quickly. Mine also stalls while going foward sometimes as well. I think it might be carbon build up.
