Recommendation for Avantgarde Grille
I see that quite a number of you have Avantgarde grilles on your W124s. Could a few of you recommend the place where you obtained your grilles. I know that some of the aftermarket grilles are not very good quality, but I was hoping that there might be some that really are quite nice. I don’t want to have to cut a new OEM grille to fit unless it really is the only way to get a decent looking grille. Please help me by recommending a place to get a grille and tell me a little about the quality. In particular, could you explain if the chrome strips are anything like those on the OEM grilles and if your aftermarket grille is similar to the grilles that come on the newer cars? Thank you for the help. I really want to get one of those grilles. Did any of you get your grilles from Matrixcar in Germany?
