i am looking for hard copy, in fact i need something related to my car. my chassie have the following number 124.031.

i searched over the internet and somehow i am unable to find anything related to that number.

I am thinking you have a 1990 - 1993 E300 Sedan with M104.98X engine (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mercedes-Benz_W124 ) . Its been my experience that the owners manual for the model of car is the same as long as its the same model year. I hope this helps.
