HELP! Decoding 1990 250D

Hi all-

I own a 1990 250D abroad and want to import it into the states. Import rules require a car that has been manufactured at least 25 years ago if it is to be imported without any modifications.

Can anyone here please help me decode this vin? My main concern is the actual production month and year but any other information such as options would be cool. Thank you!

vin is : WDB1241251B279895

Thanks for your help!

I bought the car used in 2004 and i keep it just for summer visits. Its become too expensive to do yearly registration and insurance in my home country (over $3k annually) so I figured I can use it as a hobby car here in NYC. I currently drive a 2014 S550.

As far as options, I know its a dark gray exterior with black cloth interior, all standard basic options plus A/C and debadging, clear indicators and taillights...which is all I can think of..
