Acceleration Probs
Hey what's up guys I posted this thread before but i never got a chance to read it all becasue of that big server crash. I have always had problems with acceleration. There seems to be no low-end power on my car I have a 1993 300E. It seems that once i get above 3.5-4.5 the power is really good but it kicks in really abruptly, then I'm flying like a rocket but there is no go at the start line. Do any of you guys have any advice/experiance with this problem? Some low-end power would be really nice.

There is no such thing as low-end power on a tank like a 300.
One of the only ways to get quick off-the-line acceleration is to change the gearing in the differential. However, the engine will always run faster (higher RPM) and fuel economy will suffer.

...well then just enjoy it when it does "light up"...not much else you can do...except...be glas it's not the 103 engine!!
PS: have you had any problems with the head gasket of wiring harness yet? How many miles on it?
