124merc erratic start when hot
Hi
Can anybody help me with a particular problem on my 1987 merc type 124,
with a Pierberg carb. The car starts fine and goes with no problems. However, after driving for a while with the temp sitting at about 60 deg, and then stopping for a while, when restarting the car it idles fine, but on trying to take off the car refuses to rev up. Only after much persuation with the accelerator pedal will the car go. Once going it is fine. Help!!
