New 1994 E320 Cabriolet
This is my first posting to this forum. I once had a 2000 SL500 and now own a 1999 E320 and 2011 C300. I have always been a fan of the W124 and had always hoped to own one as a weekend driver. After a long search and scouring this forum for what to be watchful for I have landed my dream car. It is a 1994 E320 Cabriolet with 83K miles in beautiful condition. Two owners before me and a thick list of service records going back to day 1. It came with the original window sticker, car cover, tonneau cover, windscreen, original tools, all keys, spare tire, etc. The top cylinders have been serviced as well as the headgasket and wiring harness. The AC works as well as everything else I have tested so far. The car is smoked silver with a brown soft top and parchment interior. It does have an aftermarket radio with Bluetooth and iPod hookup. I just might go back to the original Mercedes Radio for authenticity. The car comes mounted with a rear spoiler that I don’t know is stock or aftermarket. Still debating whether to take it off or leave it on. This is going to be for the weekends and sunny days so I hope to keep it forever. The build quality on this is fantastic. I just did a minor repair to the headliner and glued it back to the frame. This car is going to be a labor of love for me but well worth it. Here are pictures, let me know what you all think.

Your wheels are really great looking! Mine are more the standard ones. I do agree with you, revamping such a car worths it! Driving a US model in France is rather rare, so I really cherish it. I belong to a w124 MB French club with more than 300 members, and my pride is to have the only US model! I am beginning its restoration and I (try to) purchase as much genuine pieces as possible. And considering the prices over here, it might take some time.... I will post the work in progress, when possible! A bientot!
The W124s did not come standard with a rear wing btw. I hope if you do take it off it wasn't mounted on with screws. This one looks pretty good on your car tho redundant with the extra 4th taillite going on there. The whole car looks GOOD too ! Enjoy...
i have fond memories of my 95 blk opal e320 cab - also w/ full records since day one.
the only thing that makes me feel good is that i replaced it with a 2006 CLK55 cab - different car, but love having the convertible

Picked up my first MB last November. It's a 95 E320 Cabriolet Euro version. I love the car. Several pieces of advice I have been given and taken are: 1) Drive the car 2) Use a quality leather conditioner on the seats when suggested. 3) Apply a quality waterproofing product to the convertible top to make it last longer.4) Use a top fuel treatment in the beginning (I think 40k is the best) and 5) use premium fuels 91 oct or higher. Not saying you should follow this but it has worked for me.
My surprise maintenance cost so far? Engine coil. The car has become my reliable daily driver. Be glad to hear about your initial experiences. Good Luck!
