1992 Euro Light Conversion

Hi all-

I currently drive a W222 S550 but as a big fan of the W124 series, I just picked up a 1992 400E in fairly decent shape (small oil leak, needs new tires, and some panels need repaint due to clearcoat wear)with about 230k miles for under $500.

I still have not properly driven it, but rest assured I will do a nice writeup once I get to driving it around for a couple of days.

I'd like to switch headlights to the prefacelight euro lights but my question is because I have OEM wipers on the car, would this create an issue? Can I still have the wipers function after i do the retrofit?

Any help with the would be greatly appreciated.

Euro Light Conversion

Check for other posts as I used them to install mine. I went full euro set up, lights, wiper and newly painted valance with US spec yellow and Clear side markers. The post included how to wire the daytime running lights which I did. (Some day I'll install the vacuum leveling switch.)

The light conversion may cost you more than you paid for the car.

Enjoy driving one of the best cars ever made.

as mentioned a search will turn up more info, but from what i recall you could keep the wipers but will probably have to switch to the style that came on th US spec 94/95 lights
