Question about fans.
I have a 400E, i'm a little confused about something.
forgive my terminology for parts
When are the two fans in front of the radiator suppose to turn on. Do they come on when the AC or heater is activated or only when the car gets hot. I'm not sure.
Both of my fans on the front of rad were spinning all the time, i took my car to a new mechanic, he told me he fixed the problem. I'm wondering if there's an easy way to check the fans to make sure there working properly

I'm not sure if the 400 has an engine-powered fan. If it does the first stage of the electric fans turn on at a specific refrigerant pressure and the second stage at high coolant temp. I can send you the specific figures if you want.
