MB newb: need good w124 resources/engine swap potential.
Hey guys!
first time mb owner, been a big audi guy in the past, but now got my hands on a w124 wagon for $500 that needs a trans. just wondering what some good resources are for engines and trans compatibility, swap options, things of that nature.

easiest is the AMG 3.6 swap out of a C36. there are a couple that have attempted the 2JZ swap as well, which is fairly common outside the US but haven't had too many guys complete it here, at least on this forum...
