W124 E220
W124 E220-What's that Sound.
Off Late, i have been facing this problem with my E220, it makes this grinding noise,around 1500 RPM when revved, it idles nicely without any noise and post 1500 RPM as well there is no noise.Also, the belt pulley shakes a bit when this noise occurs.

Parts replaced.

1)Belt
2)Tensioner
3)Pulley
4)Belt Damper/Shocker.

The guy who works on my car suspects that even the replacement tensioner is bad.
