W124 w/shield seal channel repair?
Does anyone know if there is a replacement part or a way to fabricate a new channel for the windshield wiper seal? This is the wide rubber, one-piece rubber seal that is located at the bottom of the windshield and passes under the wiper blade assembly (part # 124 824 0498). The rubber seal should "lock" into a plastic channel, but my plastic channel has mostly cracked and fallen to pieces. I know I could use some sort of mastic or windshield sealant to "glue" it down, but this makes future repairs, such as cabin filter replacement nearly impossible without tearing up the glued down seal. Any suggestions? Thanks!

My advice would definitely be to replace it by a used one in good condition or a new one.
I think, but this has to be certified, that all W124 have the same part. Precise your car VIN and model to be sure.
To be precise, are you looking for the rubber seal or the plastic mould under it that collects water?
Look at this page and select what is broken. Then see the number 124.... and try to find it on internet or order a new one.

Good luck.
