What to do with a 1989 300E Sedan...
Bought it years ago for the kids and has been good to us.
I think, though, it is time to put her down. Beyond reasonable costs to repair. Rust in usual spots for New England, probably wont inspect, Engine and tranny that weeps fluids, etc etc.
Should I sell it to Junkie for $150 and be done with it or sell the car as a parts only via Craigs List et al (more money potentially but with all the attendant BS).
Car is located near Cape Cod.
Thanks in advance.

Probably lots of usable parts on there. If you aren't in a hurry and don't mind shipping you could probably make some extra money before scrapping it. You could always post up a thread in the classifieds on here and other MB boards and gauge interest first. Maybe someone local even would have a need for some of it.

I have scrapped two cars and unless you have another of the same chassis then I would sell it as a whole. My basement is still full of parts from a 240D I bought for parts and scrapped.
