I am hoping someone can help with an issue:


I bought a replacement lock set for a W124 Estate (Wagon), I have fitted all the locks and now need to fit the control module, part ref 124 820 59 26. Unfortunately I have no idea where it should go and was hoping someone on here may know?


Any help would be greatly appreciated!

 

Thanks for your message, the part shown is for the infra red locking system (red/green light) found on the later cars. I does not connect with the vacuum system, just the infra red receiver on the drivers door and tailgate. I am not sure if the system is used on US models, the car is a UK spec, VIN WDB1241912F344111.
