m119 - 38 pin diagnostic connector Issue
Hello Forum Friends;
Attached , I have a pic of the code reader I have for m119 ; Also is a pic of my actual 38 pin diagnostic connector/module on my 1992 400e.....
My issue is that the plastic surrounding pin 3 is deteriorated fell apart ;so wire from code reader does NOT insert into the pin(3)...
is there another pin that supplies power for getting codes??
Any other suggestions/ advise on reading codes from module?? (the code reader I have was highly recommended by member of this forum who used same kind with Great results... THANKS All Chance

Out Of Control!!
Well firstly you have much more reading to about your car---your ole blink code reader will not work on the 38 pin diagnostic connector---your analog blink reader is for the 8 and 16 pin diagnostic connectors used on the older MB's---
Forget you task and go get a beer and google MB 38 pin diagnostic connector--plus think about purchasing the correct tool that works with the 38 pin!!
