Hi all,
my 200E is the European version, but I'm looking for the code of the speedometer for my car with the indication of both MPH and KPH. The code of mine is 1245427206 (and car's VIN is WDB1240211B260911), but from these references I get nothing -quite obviously, since it should be a different code.
I need it to register the car in UK since I'm moving there, but I guess that the instrument should be the same for USA...
Could someone help me?

Just for completeness, only the overlay with both indications would be perfect...

Unfortunatly within EPC there is no MPH equal for KPH part 124 542 72 06----there are no overlays supplied by MB for that part number.

Gpalo i have in my hand a seedo head that was removed forom a F reg 1989 W124 2.3 with number on the front 124 542 79 06 the number on the rear alloy back plate reads 67127 0657 10 34 1.92 also 1089 1.92 this was fitted to both 200e 230e Hope it helps ..

I know the needle is the wrong side of the stop .Reason is i was showing another member how to refit his pointer after he fitted new pot gears .If i were local it could be yours .

Hi! Sorry for answering late, I was on vacation with no PC
Thank you very much for remembering of my speedometer!
I was finally able to find a new faceplate from US and I got it installed by my mechanics.
Now I'm waiting for the papers to request the registration (one month and one half already that I have requested them and nothing yet...).
