AMG Aero II O.Z 17" refurbishing
I am looking to dismantle and rebuild my 17" Aero II wheels. I will be looking at changing the bolts, refinishing the lip, and repainting the center.
If anyone have information that might help me please do not hesitate.
As for now I have found the correct 10 point socket to remove the bolts and disassemble the wheels.
I have read that i must use a thread locker when I re-assemble the wheels, everybody seems to go with locktite (blue or red)
I still need to source also the silicone that's applied between the lip and the main wheel part.
I also need to find the oem color codes! Mine have black centers, I am wondering if its the same black as the car (199 color code I guess) or it's another black. Might paint back silver....so i also need to find that color code.
at last, I am trying to source the bolts, i guess is M7x32mm 10 point. I was able to find M7x32mm 12 point, but I prefer to stay oem as much as possible.
what do you guys think?
