Yes i to have seen items on Ebay for Mercedes .Looking at alloy wheel centre caps ,those i saw on one listing alone on there , i emailed the seller to ask him if they were original .And he said , i am not 100% sure .You can see the star logo and Mercedes in the moulding of them. I thought then China .At a 1/4 of the price are not original MB. But still a good item .

Apparently they produce the same parts as OEM but the do not last long, I have seen in other forums that probably they have to follow "Mercedes quality measures" on parts but I do not think so, they will soon flood the world as original OEM will be so expensive and hard to find thus the China ones will be easily accessible.

Gerry your right .I think even now that Mercedes have cut corners with some older car parts .
