Red face Timing help

Hi all,

Still trying to get my timing correct. Current problem is that the rotor is pointing at the “4” nipple on the cap rather than the “1”. Crank is at TDC with the 1st cylinder at the highest part of the stroke, both cams have been set following the factory guidelines (05-2230 - Checking basic position of camshaft).

How can I get my rotor/ intake cam to the correct position?

Any contributions/ ideas are welcome.

(I have also posted to benzworld, http://www.benzworld.org/forums/w124...ing-issue.html)
