300 e modifications and ceiling speaker

300 e modifications and ceiling speaker
I was recently in europe, the mercedes taxi had this wonderful ceiling speaker. Is that available in the us, also what can I do to update my 1988 300 E besides the clear corners in the front?

What model was the taxi you were in, I have never heard of a speaker in the ceiling on the 124. I have seen them on the S class it was right by the rearview mirror. It was quite cool. I imagine it could be done however it would be quite a challenge.
Cheaply you could paint your grill black, and the chrome on the grill body color that looks great. Painting the bumpers and door moldings body color looks great just look at HiPower's car in the thread called "your rides"
