1995 e320 Intermittent EGR code
I have a 1995 e320 wagon. I just went through the the vacuum system and checked out the emissions valves. All seem to be ok, but every once in a while I get an EGR code. When it happens it is just after I have started the car. Can be cold or when it is all warmed up. The EGR valve functions ok. I have wondered if the vacuum change over valve could be a problem, but not sure. Any thoughts would be great.

interesting, i just purchased a 98 clk320 that threw the code after i bought it. The previous owner passed an emissions and had no problem with it. Through the research I've done the most I can glean so far is that It probably could use a cleaning, Seems like a very doable thing to do. Anyways, my code went away and hasn't come back on. Im still going to get under the hood and see what I can or can't find. Have you taken the Valve out?
