Service Manual
Where might I be able to buy the service manual for my 1994 E420? I would like to start doing some work my self. I would like to have the dealer one or a Haynes unless there is something better out there that wouldn't be very technical. You know.....explain it to me as if I were 8 years old.

Andy, I'd be willing to burn a copy of my CD manual and send it to your address for $10. That's pretty much the going rate among members here. These discs cover a number of models and years. Though it takes some getting used to, the CD manual is comprehensive with all the information needed to keep you car within specifications. It has not only the basic maintenance information, but also goes into the heavy repairs. The pages can be printed for the specific tasks you need to do. Admittedly, you need a little more that third grade education to read the manual, but then Benzes are rather complicated machinery.
