About to buy an old car needing some love.

Its very cheap and has been basically been sat around for 5 or six years.
130,000 miles on the clock,
Body is in good shape,
Needs new battery and I know the alarm is buggered.

Does anyone have any tips or buying advice for a someone new to w124's.
