E420 reliability?
Hello, I am considering buying an E420 or something similar (w124) from those years.
I would like to ask how is the car's reliability and ownership?
I own a W211 E500 which I largely regret buying. While the motor of the car is great, the car is horrible to own because of the very poor relaibility due to the jews of MB putting in retarded electronics that would fail like sbc/airmatic etc... Literally making a (potentially) great car, very bad to own and impossible to even take on long trips because it won't last one without breaking.
I am writing this just so you see where I'm coming from and why I am curious about the older e-class reliability. What are the common problems with it? I'm guessing since it's and older car with less electronics there should be less to break on it.
