Consistent Rattles
I have found that my trim has started to come off and it is driving me insane. The door trim panels have started to take leave from the door at the rear area. I was wondering how i could fix this, i.e. sound deadener, and what step i would have to take, removing the door insert and whatnot to cure this problem. Also my third break light is rattling and i would like to velcro it to the window or something, suggestions would be appreciated. Today im going to buy some Dynamat to do my back decklid so if ill have extra.

you need to remove the door panel and see what has gone bad on the rear side. THere are some hooks which hold the panel to the metal door, and the wood trim sometimes has loose nuts which also start to rattle. To remove the panel take off the handle by removing the upper cover from the opening lever unscrew the top of the handle. Unscrew the little screw where the door latch is, take off the inside cover of the mirror assembly. open the window and then push the panel upwards (carefully but forceful) then the panel come off and you can see the hooks I mentioned. If they are broken you can try the junkyard for a suitable panel or you try to fix them by replacing them by DIY metal hooks riveted to the panel.
Concerning the 3 brake light, just push it hard towards the window it might help.
